Split a PDF and extract the pages you need. Everything runs locally in your browser, so your files stay private.
Is this tool really free?
Yes. Every tool on this site is free, with no account or sign-up required.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. All processing happens in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
What page ranges can I extract?
Enter ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10. Each comma-separated range is saved as its own file.
Splitting extracts the pages you pick into a new, smaller PDF. The original file is untouched, so you can always go back and extract a different range. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so quality and selectable text survive the split.
Enter ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10. Check the page count first, since the tool shows it after upload, so a range like 8-10 does not run past the end of the document. One range makes one file. Run the tool again for each additional file you need.
If you only need to drop a few pages from the middle, Delete Pages is faster. If you need to reorder pages, split out the ranges you need and merge them back in the order you want.
Does splitting change quality?
No. Pages are copied, not re-rendered.
Can I split a password protected PDF?
Unlock it first with the Unlock mode on the Protect page, then split it.
Do bookmarks survive a split?
Document bookmarks are not carried into the extracted file, so note any section markers before you split.
