Is this tool really free?
Yes. Every tool on this site is free, with no account or sign-up required.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. All processing happens in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
Can I rotate only some pages?
This tool rotates every page the same way. To handle pages differently, split the PDF first.
Rotation in a PDF is a page property, not a change to the content itself. This tool sets that property to 90, 180, or 270 degrees, so the pages turn without being re-rendered and without losing quality. Text stays selectable and the file size barely changes.
If the whole document is upside down, one run fixes it. If only some pages are wrong, split out those pages, rotate them, and merge everything back in order. It is three quick steps and it avoids turning good pages sideways.
Open the rotated file and flip through it once. Scanned pages rotate just like typed pages. But a page that was already correct will turn wrong if you rotate the whole file twice, so count your turns.
Does rotation reduce quality?
No. Rotation only changes a page property. Nothing is re-rendered.
Can I rotate a single page?
This tool rotates all pages. For single pages, split them out, rotate them, and merge the file back together.
Why only 90 degree steps?
PDF rotation is defined in 90 degree increments. Any other angle would require re-rendering the page as an image.
