Merge multiple PDFs into one document, right in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Combine multiple PDF files into a single document. Everything runs locally in your browser, so your files stay private.
Is this tool really free?
Yes. Every tool on this site is free, with no account or sign-up required.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. All processing happens in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
Can I reorder files before merging?
Yes. Use the up and down buttons next to each file to arrange the order before you merge.
Merging here copies whole pages from each file into one new document. Because pages are copied rather than re-rendered, text stays selectable and vector graphics stay sharp. What you get is the same pages, in a new order, in one file.
Files merge in the order you add them. If a document arrives later and belongs in the middle, remove it and add the files again in the right order. It takes a minute, and it beats fixing a 200 page file afterwards. Mixed page sizes and orientations are kept as they are. A landscape page stays landscape.
It does not combine the bookmarks of the source files into one outline, and it does not shrink the file much. The result is roughly the sum of its inputs. If the merged file is too big to send, run it through Compress afterwards. Password protected files must be unlocked before they can be merged.
Will merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so quality is unchanged.
Can I merge scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scanned pages are images, and they copy like any other page.
What if a file has a password?
Unlock it first with the Unlock mode on the Protect page, then merge it.
