Trim the margins of every page of your PDF.
Drag the box to move it, or drag the handles to resize.
Content outside the crop area is hidden but not removed from the document.
Trim unwanted margins from every page of your PDF. Set the percentage to cut from each side, then apply.
Is this tool really free?
Yes. Every tool on this site is free, with no account or sign-up required.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. All processing happens in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
How much can I crop?
Keep each margin under 40%. Larger values are rejected to protect your document.
Set the percentage to cut from the top, bottom, left, and right, and the tool trims every page by the same amount. Cropping only changes the visible page area. Nothing is re-rendered, so quality stays exactly as it was, and the same crop applies to all pages at once.
Content outside the crop area is hidden from view, but it is still inside the file. Anyone who resets the crop box can bring it back. Never use cropping to hide sensitive text. Use Redact for that, which rebuilds the page so the covered text is truly gone.
Scanned pages with dark scanner borders, slides with wide empty margins, and documents that must fit a fixed layout. Start with a small percentage, check the first and last pages, and increase it only if nothing important is cut off.
Does cropping reduce quality?
No. It only changes the visible page area.
Is cropped content really gone?
No. It is hidden, not removed. Use Redact to truly remove sensitive content.
Can I crop pages differently?
This tool applies the same percentages to every page.
